Jonathan Quick stopped 32 shots in his best start of the series, Jeff Carter scored in the final second of the first period, Jake Muzzin and Mike Richards added goals in the second, and the Kings beat the Rangers 3-0 on Monday night to move within one win of their second Stanley Cup title in three years.

Los Angeles leads 3-0 and can claim the Cup on Wednesday night at MSG, according to an ESPN.com report. 

Dustin Brown redirected Willie Mitchell's shot 10:26 into the second overtime, and the Kings outlasted the Rangers 5-4 Saturday night to take a 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup finals, according to an ESPN.com report.

Game 3 is Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

Justin Williams scored 4:36 into overtime after a turnover by Dan Giradi, and Los Angeles beat New York 3-2 on Wednesday night in the Stanley Cup finals opener, according to an ESPN.com report.

Alec Martinez scored at 5:47 of overtime, and the Kings beat the Blackhawks 5-4 on Sunday night to advance to the Stanley Cup finals for the second time in three years.

Los Angeles improved to 7-0 in elimination games with its third Game 7 win on the road this postseason. It will host the Rangers in Game 1 on Wednesday night.
